As we all know the secret behind a good quality catering firm is the quality and choice of food, but also that old thing called the price!

Whilst the following is a selection of pre-determined corporate menu's, we can mix and match any of these buffets to fit your requirements but please ask for a separate price than that shown here. 

However, please remember whenever we can we'll aim to meet the requirements that YOU the customer wants, which means we can also accommodate your own personal buffet requirements (where possible).

Mums Home Cooking can also offer a variety of fresh home made hot soups and hot buffets such as chilli, stews, currys, casseroles and bolognaise all served with fresh crusty bread. All hot soups and buffets will be supplied with soup kettles or hostess hot plates to keep your food hot, fresh and ready for your guests to eat.

Mums Home Cooking has also catered for private dinner parties which has included the supply of a 3 course US style Thanks Giving dinner to a 3 course celebratory dinner involving pan fried chicken with duphonaise sauce.

Please remember that the most important ingredient to Mums Home Cooking is just that. The vast majority of the offered food is freshly prepared and cooked personally. We do not just offer processed and repackaged supermarket food.

Petite but Filling @ £4.50pp comprising: various fresh sandwiches and/or rolls; various flavoured sandwiches and/or rolls; various flavoured chicken skewers or minted lamb koftas; various mini tartlets; nibble tray; fruit platter

Middle Man @ £4.95pp comprising: various fresh sandwiches and/or rolls; various flavoured chicken skewers or minted lamb kofta; mini savoury eggs; or cheese/bacon wheels; slice of cheese/onion or cheese/bacon or cheese/cranberry or three cheese quiche; nibble tray; fruit platter

Big Feast @ £5.30pp comprising: various fresh sandwiches and/or rolls and/or wraps; flavoured chicken skewers or chicken goujons or minted koftas; Asian, Oriental and Cajun selection i.e. various veg/meat/prawn spring rolls, onion bhajees, vegetable samosas, prawn wonton, mini duck/chicken fajhita, Cajun mushrooms, Cajun onion rings, Cajun potato wedges, prawns on skewers, potato/spinach pakora etc; cake/dessert platter; fruit skewer or fruit platter; nibble tray or crudites or mixture

Mighty Menu @ £6.15 comprising: various fresh sandwiches and/or rolls and/or wraps; flavoured chicken skewers or chicken goujons or minted koftas; Asian, Oriental and Cajun selection i.e. various veg/meat/prawn spring rolls, onion bhajees, vegetable samosas, prawn wonton, mini duck/chicken fajhita, Cajun mushrooms, Cajun onion rings, Cajun potato wedges, prawns on skewers, potato/spinach pakora etc; cheese/bacon wheels; slice of cheese/onion or cheese/bacon or cheese/cranberry or three cheese quiche; cake/dessert platter; fruit skewer or fruit platter; nibble tray or crudites or mixture;

Super Soups and Side Orders @ £5.10pp comprising:  choice of fresh homemade soup from tomato & basil, chicken & sweeetcorn, hearty vegetable, cheese & broccoli, turkey & cranberry and more; crusty bread and butter; hot jacket potato; and salad bowl. Optional hot fillings @ £0.75pp from baked beans, chilli, bolognaise, curries, and cheese.

3 Course Evening Dinner Party Menu @ £10.95: choice of starters from pate (meat or vegetarian) with Swedish toast, prawn cocktail or homemade soup with warmed dinner rolls; choice of main course from pan fried chicken, seasonal vegetables, duphanois potatoes an red currant jus, or chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce, crispy herby potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or boeuf bourguinonne with creamy mustard mash and seasonal vegetable, or beef stroganov with wild rice, or mushroom, spinach and sweet potato stroganov, followed with dessert options from cheesecake (various flavours), or devils food cake, or fresh fruit salad. 

Customer Notes:

1) Please note that our delicious fruit skewers will comprise of seasonal fruits such as strawberries, melon and pineapple.

2) All buffets will be supplied with a twist to the garnish!

3) Fruit baskets and nibble trays are available at an extra charge (£0.50pp) upon request unless otherwise stated in the individual menus.

4) Rice rings and/or fresh salad are available upon request with each menu option for an additional £1.50 per rice ring or salad bowl.

5) Mums Home Cooking will charge an additional amount for specialised dietary requirements i.e vegan, halal etc (excludes vegetarian).

6) Mums Home Cooking use local produce suppliers whenever they can.

7) Mums Home Cooking reserve the right to change any buffet menu items without prior notice.

8) Whilst no nuts are used in the preparation of any of our food, Mums Home Cooking cannot guarantee that nut products or extracts are not contained within any ingredient.
